CARRYING OUR LIGHT INTO THE COMMUNITY

This weekend, we carried our candles out into the heart of the community, spending the day at our local farmers market. There is something beautifully simple about being there—among growers, makers, and neighbors—offering what we’ve created with care. The rhythm is slower, more human, grounded in real conversations and shared smiles.

Each candle we placed on the table carried with it not only fragrance and light, but also the intention behind our work: to create something gentle, meaningful, and made to be savored slowly. As women stopped to linger, to smell, to ask about the scents, we felt reminded that our business is not about rushing or producing endlessly. It is about connection, about small and thoughtful exchanges that brighten both the giver and the receiver.

The market is its own kind of slow living. The hum of voices, the fresh air, the joy of supporting one another—it all aligns with the values that guide us. We return home tired, yes, but in the softest way, the kind of fullness that comes from knowing we’ve shared a little light, a little beauty, with our community.

For us, being at the farmers market is not just about selling candles. It’s about taking part in a rhythm that is slower, kinder, and more intentional. It’s about remembering that business, too, can be soft, local, and deeply human.

Thank you to everyone who came over to our table, who shared your interest in what we are offering, to those who shared kind and thoughtful conversations and to those who ended up buying candles to bring into your own home, we are deeply grateful!
